Fear is important, but Islam teaches balance. Allah doesn’t only remind us of punishment; He also constantly reminds us of His mercy, forgiveness, Jannah, and repentance. If living in constant fear was the goal, we wouldn’t be told not to despair of Allah’s mercy or to have good expectations of Him. We should fear Allah, but also love Him and hope in His mercy. May Allah protect us all💞
