I have mixed thoughts about this. certain software companies like Adobe RT definitely at risk. I'm advanced in Photoshop and expert in after effects. I haven't opened up either of those programs 4 or 5 months because in 20 seconds with a good prompt I can get at least 90% of what I want of what I could achieve in 3 days worth of work. The return on time invested is definitely worth it for me to just use AI and and the last 3 months many of the AI renders were actually better or more creative than what I would have done anyway. consequently I am short Adobe and figma. others as they relate to cyber security and data center architecture could still be at risk long-term but short-term are necessary for the AI infrastructure. I'm less bearish on those but still apprehensive. Even old Staples like notion and monday.com are likely to be eliminated. I created a notion replacement in Claude in about 2 hours of sloppy Vibe coding. granted it doesn't do 100% of everything notion does, but it does 100% of what I need it to do and not for $40 a month and it's custom so some of the most annoying things about notion are now not bothering me ever again because I prompted them out of my custom notion platform companies like notion are going bye-bye and won't be here in 10 years. likely five

People seems to forget that, at its core, Microsoft is an operating system - very difficult to displace. Whilst software, yes, it’s a difference beast to web apps/platforms etc
