I wish they went more into the dreamy side i wish we saw some more liminal rooms like the pool rooms or that one level i forget the number but its a bunch of houses i always personally thought it was very liminal and dreamy

I agree with you, and it wasn’t based on the “levels” backrooms that people have made up, I feel like the way they did it was really good, and if they had done some levels thing it would’ve felt cheap. It was a great movie, scared the shit out of me

I know!! feel like people just completely misunderstood what the backrooms movie was supposed to be... like the original backrooms (like Pixels version) is exactly dreamcore—also the movie was completely in tune with that version of the backrooms. Like just say you don't like his version of the backrooms and you like the wiki version?
