Tho im not a man myself, im also a lesbian, i still have many men around me in both family and friends. Its both pride AND mens mental health month, some men needing both. Humans are able to care about more things then only one, and mens mental health is important. This is the type of stuff that needs to be shared for mens mental helth, to bring awarness and to promote men talking about it. Its sad to say, but what i mostly see with mens mental health is men not actually doing this, but using it in order to spread hate, giving it a bad rep, so its so important ppl like you actually take it seriously! Iv struggled with mental health alot myself, and it fucking sucks, and its very clear its even more difficult for men to get the help they need. The help they deserve! My dad is probably the strongest man i know, manly man, goes fishing, hunting, fixes cars, chops wood, drives motorcycles, all that stuff, but he also cries, he asks for help, he talks in baby voices when talking to our cat and dog, he helps others out if he can, he heangs out with his friends, he never looks down on ppl and does not give up on others, he is kind and caring, he struggles, he is happy, and so much more. You deserve happiness, you deserve life, you are worth fighting for, even if your brain is telling you something else. Its difficult af to get better, it took me 10+ years, and a huge part of it is that you need to do it, no one else can "fix" you, exept you, but its worth it, cus you are worth it. Take small steps, as easy as you can manage, it takes time and you are going to struggle more on some days then other days, and thats ok, its ok to fall back too, its part of it. But you are going to get better.
