Babe arlington heights, oak park, geneva, st charles, downers grove, palatine, etc all have downtowns you can walk to! I walk to a workout class, coffee & jewel in AH ☺️

I tell people to find a suburb that supports the lifestyle you want. Take the house and the budget out of it for a minute. Do you want walkability? fine dining? local shoppes? Lakefront? Narrow your search there first, then add back in budget and house to see if they match up. Good luck!!

I spent 25 years in the city. It was great when I was young. I love in a near suburb now. I just want to spend time in my backyard with plants alone. I'm slowly becoming the woman who shakes her first at people. Hopefully to one day become the woman who all kids think is an actual witch. My final form.

I did city first. Then raised my kids in suburbs - they could walk to school and park even a bakery and Starbucks and cvs (kids love cvs 😂). Now I’m back in the city. I will choose the city everytime.
