our old lab LOVED to chew on bottles for YEARS. One day we noticed a persistant wheezing. Took to vet > Did not pass inspection > Vet pulled a tangled mess of hair and about 9 plastic bottle rings out of his gullet. Moral of the story. Let dog have bottles cause he cute AF but maybe remove the cap and rings first. 🤙

Mine loves water bottles, he has a process : rip label off -> unscrew cap with teeth -> pull off the plastic ring where the cap was -> squish the bottle until it’s flat -> take a nap 😂💀

I do that too, but mine swallowed a cap once, so now I peel the label and leave off the cap and take the little plastic ring that’s leftover from the cap off, and then it’s safe for my World Eater
