Lando was ahead of Oscar all race. Oscar only got P2 because McLaren botched Norris's stop after promising he wouldn't lose out by staying out longer there was no overtake, no pace advantage, and no battle won on track. The swap simply corrected a team mistake and if Oscar lost the title it wasn't because of Monza's 3point swing. It was because Norris outscored him afterwards, while Oscar also had a couple of crashes of his own Monza didn't decide the championship ❤️

It was because Lando said he’d only let Oscar pit first if he didn’t get undercut, and that slow pit stop meant he got undercut

"it's because lando said-" no it's the fact that mclaren continued to fuck up, continued to be like "we don't have a #1 driver", and continued to change their minds about everything depending on what driver was doing what, and Oscar was completely justified for the things he said(&did) because it was always him being asked to do things, and the whole "they only signed him BCS another driver wasn't available" or wtv was going on definitely didn't help
