I found u six years ago. Back then, I used to watch this every night before going to bed. I remember closing my eyes and letting your words guide me through all the feelings I couldn’t explain out loud. I knew every word by heart, and those words truly guided me through so many things—not just coming out, but also the struggles and uncertainties of life. I was half a world away from you back then, and now I’m just one Niagara River away from you here in Canada. Things are really getting better. I’ve had incredible support from my family and friends, and little by little, I’ve become more myself. The abyss feels a lot less scary because of you. :) Thank you, Shannon.
