Tips - a normal white shirt makes it look a lot more formal. The dots make it look A LOT more casual - so if u are unsure, just plain white shirt will lift it a level 😁😁

For future reference, shirts with button-down collars are considered casual wear rather than traditional dress shirts. They generally shouldn't be paired with a formal suit, tie, or matching trousers. However, they work perfectly with a casual blazer, provided the collar buttons remain secured.

This happened to my husband recently. We were told to “dress like we were attending a wedding” and it turned out to be a black tie event. Also, wedding attire was very vague, and he showed up in Travis Matthew jeans and Polo 😂
