@rileyquinnartofficial: Lark may show up late in the actual book of Gold and Gossamer but I can promise you that whether he’s on the page or not that guy is In A Situation. (Also, Lark, if we’re honest here, Dante hasn’t slept in like a week. I’m pretty sure he’s looking THROUGH you more than at you.) I know for a fact that Lark puts so much care into crafting a wide array of glamour disguises. It probably drives him CRAZY how Pim and Taniya’s human looks are just like “here’s me if I were more beige! My beige-sona :)” while he’s over here crafting the most delightful feathered haircuts and studying local textiles before going fully undercover. That’s on having an archivist for a mom. Lark WILL be doing research. And probably getting attached to this poor exhausted mage that is genuinely doing his best. Which is NOT professional, despite Lark’s near-obsession with acting professionally. (Did anyone notice how often he brings it up in the novel it’s a LOT)
