Its great to finally see RISC come to wider commercial application for individual consumers. However, the way AI has been deployed onto consumer devices has been very privacy invading. Yes, powerful personal AI models could be really useful. No, I do not trust it coming through Windows. And the rest of the ecosystem isn't without suspicion. What does it get me? A digital personal secretary? I became an adult without one. I don't feel like like the privacy concern is worth it.

This is the role out for agentic Ai, it’s the hardware to back it up. Corporate isn’t going to start building gaming PCs for their employees, they will buy them a windows laptop though

Digital Equipment Corp (DEC) was the major to use ARM. I partnered with ARM to make a dual ARM core chip in 1997. Apple was still using Motorola chips, then switched to Intel later., long before using ARM cores.
