My mom was addicted to drugs my whole childhood and some of my twenties. Her and I had a horrible relationship at this time and we didn't speak for years. But she finally got clean and sober which healed us both. I ended up taking care of her until she passed in 2022. I thank God I was able to forgive her.

I long forgave my birth mother but I will NOT be caring for my birth mother as you do. I did for her household as long as I had siblings in school. HER mother who raised me got all of me till the end. It was only after she saw how I cared for my grandmother that she even started calling me “her son”

My mom was mean to me as a teenager, but when I got sick my mom dropped everything to care for me as an adult. Now my mom has my total support and love.🥰🥰🥰🥰
