I went to a Bible and missionary college because church was where I was safe and wanted as a kid. I grew up and my twin sister came out to me and because of how deep I was in the church, I paused. I actually paused and thought about how I should respond to her according to what the Bible said. Then I realized I hurt my sister who HAS NEVER HURT ME. Because of who she lives? That was my wake up call. I left the church and educated myself on so many things involving lgbtqia+! Best decision ever was to choose love over the hate of the church! Happy pride everyone! 🥰🥰🥰

This is the beautiful song. As a queer pastor, I do want to let your readers know that there are many churches who do open their arms wide and affirm LGBTQ+ plus persons. I left my church of origin to explore other denominations that were and are truly affirming and embrace all of God's the children.
