Are you keeping your furniture? The boxes can hold a lot of you break everything down and pack cleverly, but if you’re looking to keep things like mattresses, etc you may have to do a second pass as someone who used just one to ship an entire studio+ apartment cross country

Depends tho, did you keep things that you actually won’t use and also have no desire displaying or giving/selling when finishing them? I realised the 15 years I been dragging embroidery stuff around was a waste. I kept some floss that I use to mend clothes and removed the rest. I wanted to still be a embroidery person but I haven’t touched it for 15 years so I faced the fact I am still decent at the craft but do not have to do it anymore

once this is all packed well in totes it won't seem like so much. youre doing a great job! Just because youre downsizing doesn't mean you have to give up the things you love
