How you dress, who you see, how you think. Take it back in small steps. Make one decision today and stick to it, even if he hates it. 2️⃣ He tests your loyalty. He sets little traps to see if you’ll “abandon” him, because deep down he’s still waiting for his mother to. Know this. His trust issues were here long before you were. Stop auditioning for a part you already got. 3️⃣ He nitpicks everything. Your looks, your choices, the way you talk. Because he felt judged by her, and hurt people hand the hurt down. His words are a mirror of his wounds, not a measure of your worth. 4️⃣ He plays the victim. Everything is somehow YOUR fault, same way he blamed his mom for all of it. You are not responsible for managing a grown man’s feelings. Put that weight down. It was never yours to carry. 5️⃣ He tries to break you down. The verbal jabs, the cuts, all of it to shrink you the way he felt shrunk. See the pattern for what it is. You don’t rebuild on his opinion. You rebuild on the truth that you deserve respect, period.
