Not to be a buzz kill, but when you were using the cosplay headband, you shook your head so much slower and when you weren’t, you shook your head so much faster and harder than you did with the cosplay headband…

this is called a wig strap or wig band and it is commonly used on Broadway for characters that wear wigs and that dance a lot. I have used a wig strap before for performances and while it does work, the pressure from the band on your head will give you a massive headache after a while. I suggest wearing one only if your wig is heavy or if you plan to move a lot, and if you do, take some serious pain medicine.

If you get your cosplays from dokidoki, then you can get a wig grip headband from them for an extra $2! They work super well, too!

If youre wearing a wig cap that is too tight you can still very much get headaches. its not the wig causing the headache. its the caps.
