This same thing happened to me. I’m 33 now and you will slowly stop kicking yourself but it def has shaped your life and that’s something we couldn’t deny!

Yes to all of this, but that one decision you made led you to where you are now. You’ve built a life that you love & you are a blessed & successful business owner, girlfriend (hopefully soon to be fiancé), dog/goat mama, etc. THAT was the lords hand in your story. He knew what He was doing when leading you down an unfamiliar path that was far from your original self expectations! ❤️

As someone who fell out of love with a sport due to outside reasons too I would recommend getting into coaching! Be the coach you always wanted/needed and help little kids fall in love with the sport you loved!

I made this same decision with collegiate softball! Single handedly is the biggest regret that I have, but I find ways now to stay around the sport through coaching and rec leagues!
