Every time I get an oil change I take a picture of my car when it’s lifted in a different angle than the last picture so I have an album of pictures to use with the excuse my car is at the mechanic 😅

I had just finished working on my boat and wanted to take it out on lake Austin and I called my boss and said I feel too good to come to work so I’m taking the boat out. He says hang on and I hear him tell his boss he didn’t feel good and needed to leave. Then he gets back on the phone with me and says come get me and I’ll buy beer 😂🤣

Not work but a HARD college prof. My best friend told me I had just about 3 hours to get home and be his best man at his elopement (I was at school about 2.5-3 hours away…told my prof my dad was in the hospital….my MOM called him too and expanded the lie so I could make it. She had a suit waiting for me when I sped into town…we had been friends since Kinder so mom knew I wouldn’t want to miss his big day!

When going thru a horrendous divorce I went to work anyway after crying all night. My boss paid for a massage for me and told me to take a few days off paid. I loved her 💗

I worked at a huge call center. Pulled into the parking lot and called my supervisor and said "there are no parking spots available, seems you have enough staff so I am going home" and hung up on him. Left and picked up my kids to go to the zoo. I walked in the next day and did not say a word and got to work... was never mentioned again. 😂

Co worker caught me coming in late when she showed up extra early. She immediately texted our boss and told her and my boss texted me to see if I was OK. I told her I was sick and my boss told me to give the work that needed to be done to said co worker 😂. Went home relaxed.
