when I was a radiography student in theatre my supervisor let me take control of the c arm and he sat there playing candy crush. but the moment you move near a drape the scrub nurses year you a new one 😂

I was a student nurse and found the OR cold and boring. I hated it so much I begged my professor not to send me back. I wanted to go to central sterile processing as I find it fascinating. I had so much fun my professor started rotating us all through it. They were so nice. We got to assemble procedure trays for sterilization, learn about all the equipment and one nice man cleaned our rings in the ultrasonic bath. ❤️❤️I also learned that many companies use registered nurses as sales and service reps for the various machines!!!

As a scrub tech, come on in! But you better be masked, bunny suited up, don’t touch ANYTHING green or blue, and stand AT LEAST a yard stick away from everything. Honestly? Hug the wall and watch over your shoulder. But yeah like totally come in and check it all out!!

My surgeon told the circulator and nurse to not yell at me for what he was about to do and then he found a code stool for me to stand on so I could stand next to him and watch the whole surgery (I’m 5’3” and he was over 6’) and the circulator helped me scrub and then they tied my gown behind me so I couldn’t be tempted to touch anything 😂😂
