This is the problem with cars with too much technology. It’s stalled because your traction control properly kicked in. This is why cars with all the technology are a waste of time I could do a Hill start on that Hill with any car that hasn’t got technology just by a proper handbrake and doing a proper Hill start you will never get the car moving without any throttle no matter what technology you have in the car, unlike yours just did it started with spinning the traction control kicked in which stored it

I was at a really steep hill similar to this one and my car really struggled. I have a 2006 Polo and even applying the hand brake my car was still rolling back. I can do hill starts perfectly fine but this one almost took my poor car out. I ended up revving to almost 7000 just to move and I know that isn’t good for the car but I was petrified I’ll go into the cars behind me. I don’t know what I did wrong😅 (I only passed 6 months ago) But this was a good demonstration and I’ll remember this video whenever I’m in a similar situation again😊

if it is too steep and both sides are clear, then you try going up in a zigzag format

Only time I failed a hill start was when I had just applied for geting my license 2 and a half years ago and my dad took me to a really steep street It was steeper then this one. since then never have failed a hill start even on the same road I failed at the first time. btw I was driving a 1.2L corsa back then

Lift the clutch to biting point whilst foot on the brake then once at biting point let go of the brake. Ain’t hard learn how to drive and if that don’t work press the gas whilst at the biting point dear me🤦🏽♂️
