@itstashmurphy: Somewhere along the way... mums were expected to do everything at once. Work like we don't have children. Parent like we don't have responsibilities. Show up everywhere. Never feel overwhelmed. And somehow still enjoy every moment. I remember looking at schedules like this thinking... how is this even possible without constantly feeling exhausted or guilty? That's why so many of us feel like we're constantly chasing our tails. Not because we're doing anything wrong. But because we're trying to solve an equation that simply doesn't balance. I remember thinking adulthood would feel easier by this age. That if we worked hard, did all the right things and kept ticking the boxes, life would eventually feel comfortable. Instead, it feels like so many families are working harder than ever whilst somehow having less time, less breathing room and less margin for error. The maths isn't mathing anymore ? That's a big reason why I started looking for another way. Something that could fit into the small pockets of time I already had instead of taking even more time away from my kids. Because these years with our babies are too important to miss.
