I left my phone in the bathroom on my way out of AUS and when I got back, it took until the next morning I was back, I got it back. It wasn’t at lost and found, the airline DID have it. Call the airline themselves, the workers are typically willing to help find it!

Babe just call the airline and ask. The worst that happens is they don’t help you or tell you they haven’t found it. But you never know!!!!!! If the biggest inconvenience is making this phone call vs losing everything on that phone, I’d be making some calls.

I left an iPad on an AA flight, said they wouldn’t keep looking after 30 or 90 days can’t remember. Months later I got a notif that it was found and they sent it to me lol was wild

As someone that lost their wallet in Rome, email the airport lost and found, if they find it they will email you, you can hire I courier to pick it up from the airport and mail it to you!

I used to work at LAX, sometimes if it’s left at the gate. The phone is left inside the gate desk… not sure if it’s different there. But also file a form with the airline !

I lost my phone in Jeju & driver said he dropped it off in a mailbox, as the post office takes care of lost & found items. it's been 2 months & haven't had any luck seeing it on their lost&found websites 🥲
