I just came out to one of my closest people..you have no idea how it hurts to be rejected...I just thought something might change but now I'm just more afraid. the thought of losing People I love, my parents, they're strict, religious, there is no way they will accept me and they mean a lot to me just as much as this part of who I am..do you feel me ?? it's all I think of, the rejection.

I came out to my mother when i was a junior and she hated me cause she's a religious person and forced me to be religious like her but it turned out to lose my faith.

i came out to my mother in my freshman year and I graduated 2 weeks ago, back then we would have these insane and heated arguments, she would say how I didn’t really know what I wanted or it was somehow just a phase but I always knew what I was. about a month ago was our last argument, where she accepted the fact that I am gay and told me she didn’t think I was sick, that society was the sick one, after all these years, she sided with me, denouncing the culture that push forth harmful beliefs (she’s a Chinese immigrant), I realized there was light at the end of the tunnel
