LEGO Minas Tirith & Grond ❤ Set was provided by LEGO for the review | Sponsored LEGO Lord Of the Rings set #11377 Minas Tirith will be released on June 1st, 2026. It consists of 8278 pieces (includes 10 Minifigures, horse and two statues) and costs 649.99 USD / 649.99 EUR / 2799.99 PLN. It comes with Gift with Purchase - Grond, set #40893 with two Orcs Minifigures What I like: - Besides the obvious, like the impressive size and detail, it's worth noting that the set doesn't come with stickers – everything is printed on the bricks, and there are a lot of them! - Amazing Gondor Soldier Minifigures – in addition to the very nice torsos with trees, there's also wearable armor with printed details. The armor and legs are made in flat silver, which enhances their authenticity. The rest of the figures are also great! Pippin and King Aragorn are class! - Very interesting building techniques and a lack of repetition. You might think that all the windows and walls would be built similarly, but quite the opposite – every window element protruding from the walls is built using a different technique, and not just any technique. There's always a cool combination of popular elements used quite differently due to the microscale. - Very cool trick with the microscale on top and the Minifig scale on the bottom. Some might find this detracting from the authenticity and distorting the proportions, but I find it an understandable compromise. This set is still enormous. - Despite its size, it fits perfectly on my shelf. It's not too deep, and the height is just right. - Grond is great - it’s in the same scale like the bottom of Minas Tirith, moves with a lever and comes with two Orcs. What I don't like: - We need real tomatoes for Denethor, not cherries! - The front gate, held together with ball joints and loosely attached with axle pins, isn't the most durable. It would need some reinforcement, so the entire set could be easily moved. I managed to do that, but I had to be a little careful. - The bags in the boxes aren't divided like the instructions. By the way, I didn't expect Part 3 of the instructions to be packed separately in a separate box. #lego #rlfm #lordoftherings
