My kids didn't know "evil" when younger yet knew when disobeying Mommy by doing something I had told them not to do that they'd be in trouble aka have consequences. Right/wrong is not the same as good/evil. Not every wrong is evil. Disobeying isnt always evil. You're meshing words that do not have the same meaning.
