RAIS WA MAONO…A President of VISION 🇰🇪 There are certain blessings in life that NO AMOUNT OF WEALTH can purchase and no amount of influence can manufacture. Among those blessings, I count the OPPORTUNITY to be granted audience by ONE of Africa’s most accomplished and visionary leader…H.E. PRESIDENT WILLIAM SAMOEI RUTO. Yesterday, I once again had the pleasure of paying a COURTESY VISIT on this DISTINGUISHED MAN at STATE HOUSE, in WAJIR 🇰🇪 soon after the INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS…KENYA is a place I now call HOME. I was pleased to share with His Excellency, that the INTRATREK GROUP has now moved decisively towards IMPLEMENTING its USD200 MILLION investment ambition in Kenya, a country whose economic prospects continue to attract INVESTORS from across the globe. The confidence to invest is created by a LEADERSHIP that promotes stability, encourages enterprise and fosters an environment where business can flourish. Kenya continues to demonstrate precisely that under the KENYA KWANZA agenda. In many respects, this mirrors the aspirations of the AFRICAN CONTINENTAL FREE TRADE AREA (AFCFTA) and the broader vision shared by African governments, including Zimbabwe under H.E PRESIDENT E. D. MNANGAGWA, to strengthen intra-African trade, investment and economic integration for the benefit of future generations.What touched me the most, however, was not the discussion around business or my inevitable investments, but the SIMPLE REMINDER that nations are ultimately built by people who care about others. President Ruto possesses a RARE ABILITY to combine firm leadership with genuine compassion, and it is this quality that continues to earn him ADMIRATION far beyond the borders of Kenya. As a fellow African and bonafide CITIZEN of Kenya, I remain grateful for the listening ear and the WARM HEART that His Excellency consistently extends to me.
