Considering that I would be living in a place that has daily earthquakes, I would choose the wall that could bend.

because Japan always experience earthquakes, if a strong earthquake happens and houses collapses it is easier for them to save people, also bamboes goes along the quake or shake.

can I be a critique? done this before twice on small outdoor tool shed. • excellent insulation • poor earthquake resistance • easy to decompose on rainy season • it's good for health at first • ants, termites and molds (a lot of them, it was a nightmare) • super eco friendly • cost friendly materials suggestions • add more stable stones/rocks as a base • add more well distributed straw/fiber • add more lime ash to the ratio • use fat clay instead of ordinary clay (fat clay has very high plasticity and can be as hard as a rock when properly cured or treated just like mudstone). it can turn into adobe (a very hard earth rock from clay) with consistent stress and pressure • add more insulation (the whole surface must experience wind occurance). use large windows (floor to ceiling if possible) • make this structure concrete but leave the wall/or at least exterior wall partially earthy • make the flooring polished/oil treated eath instead of the whole wall • spend the most on treating the exterior wall insect free warning ⚠️: Beware of DENR, they might get you from unregistered mining ⛏️
