@ricksetup: Keychron G5! Is it a good mouse or just another random ULX clone? In my opinion, yes, it's a great mouse, but like any other, it has its positives and negatives. The unboxing experience is decent but simple. The box contents aren't abundant: just the mouse, cable, dongle, extra feet, and manual. (Hold that thought, there's an important point about this at the end.) The mouse build quality is pretty decent. The main clicks have good tactility, little pre- and post-travel, and the huano mechanical switches are very well implemented. Special mention to the side buttons, which have the best click feel of all the mice I have here, both in tactility and sound. The scroll wheel has more defined steps than usual, offering a bit more resistance when scrolling. At the same time, the scroll click is light, which is good because it prevents accidental scrolling when clicking. As for the 3950 sensor, nothing new, it's well implemented. I didn't notice any tracking issues even when using 0.7mm LOD on a glass pad for hours. The mouse is medium-sized and has a versatile shape, perfect for several grip types (also an important point for later). The design, while clearly inspired by the ULX competition, has its own unique features. Instead of holes, it has a thin layer of carbon fiber beneath the grooves on the main surface (and in some places, glossy plastic). So it's lightweight, has something that mimics the holes of a ULX, but it's also closed, which is a big plus because it prevents internal dirt buildup. Also really cool is the yin-yang symbol engraved on the bottom of the mouse. Even though there's no obvious reason for it to be there, it's still cool lol. Important considerations: The mouse has a bit of side flex. It's not something you'll feel during normal use, but if you hold it with both hands and squeeze, it will flex. I didn't notice any worrying creaking or noise, and no buttons actuate either. Still, it's something to keep an eye on long-term. I couldn't find any info on the coating, but it's one of the things I didn't like. It's smooth and has low grip. It slips a bit, and depending on the grip you use, it'll be uncomfortable! This mouse practically forces you to use grip tape for long sessions without discomfort. And remember what I said about the box contents? Yeah. The mouse doesn't come with grips in the box. So you'll need to buy third-party grips, like from Mizuworks or Xraypad. (Not that bad since it'll improve both grip and looks, but I still think it's extremely important for the mouse to include grip tape in the box!!) #setup #technology #techtok #GamingSetup #setupgaming
