I'm so sorry this happened to you ❤️My daughter-in-law just lost her baby & she's struggling too. People don't realise what they're saying & they don't mean harm (most of the time) but that doesn't make it any easier for you. Have you thought about counselling? xx

Im so sorry this happened to you. I worked in a salon and one of the clients congratulated me on my pregnancy. I wasn’t pregnant but desperately wanted to be & was struggling significantly with weight issues and my self confidence was so low I cried for days about it. Her stylist told her that I wasn’t pregnant and rather than being appropriately mortified and apologetic she told the stylist to tell me not to wear the dress I had on again if I didn’t want people to think I was pregnant. She made her ignorance my issue. My manager at the time was so supportive and followed it up with a phone call to let her know how it had affected me and to be mindful of comments she made in future. Her daughter phoned later that day to tell him how badly her mum had been affected by his phone call and how anxious it had made her. The audacity is ludicrous. I haven’t thought about this for years but now I have it still pains me!! Don’t comment on women’s bodies, even if it’s well meaning. End of story!!
