Our AI features include prominent links to the web directly within responses. AI Mode is not the default experience in search.” Here's the nuance to this that nobody's talking about. “AI Overviews reduce clicks by 58%.” This is for informational keywords. If you are a niche blogger, if you are a publisher, these AI features will hurt you. If you are a business trying to get customers, trying to get leads from SEO, these AI features will make no difference or they will help you. For people who are looking, the AI still needs to refer people to a business. Google's AI Mode is not going to retile your roof. It's not going to be your pants. It's not going to be your CRM.
