My favorite part about Astartes, is they dont talk, but we know from lore that Space Marines constantly communicate with each other from within their helmets. I can imagine that some of these take downs, one points out to their brother that they were coming around the corner only to get a knife in them

I will say this until the end of time; the fundamental problem with a lot of Astartes-focused stories is the great lengths they go to to make their central characters out to be nigh-unstoppable. If the first two thirds of your story are your protagonist being utterly invincible and not caring about any potential threat, I'm going to be mentally clocked out in the last third when you finally decide to pick the story up.

I think this is some glaze. The way the writers illustrated they were invincible was by making them bulletproof from a machine gun. Which is like the most lazy way of doing so.
