I'm in awe of this Facebook memory. Not b/c I was doing what I was born to do, but because I was doing it under such duress. Balancing so much. Being a mom, a working professional, a wife, (ALWAYS) the sole provider for my and trying to balance it all in what I now understand was a coercively abusive relationship. I understood that fully after I had the strength to leave. Sometimes we don't know what we're in or dealing with while we're in it. That's what makes it coercive. The yelling, the lies, the throwing and breaking things, the isolation, the intentional withholding of affection- that's what makes it abuse. Leaving is NEVER easy. Especially if you are a fixer, a doer, someone who always sees things through to the end and makes things RIGHT. That is one of your biggest pulls for abusers. They want someone who will fight to fix, cure and heal. At some point you must choose sanity. At some point you must choose yourself and save your light or it will be swallowed by the darkness. You cannot heal another person. You cannot love them into fixing themselves. You can only pray for them and give it all to God and work on yourself. Many of us were tricked and deceived into relationships with people who mirrored us. The saw our light and love and wanted it for themselves, but they could only copy it for so long. Then their mask fell. We saw who they were, but it was too late- we were already in- committed. And out of loyalty we stayed as long as we could, even past when it started to break us- our minds, our spirits, our wills and most definitely our hearts. There is an upside if you can get out before they kill you spiritually and even physically. There is God's grace. There is peace within Him. Give your pain and heartache to Jesus- literally lay at the foot of the cross. The healing can be a wild process- BUT IT's REAL. Don't give up if you're in this situation. If you've been exhausted by someone who was supposed to be your partner and love you wholely but instead are draining the life out of you. Don't give up. So long as you have breath in your lungs things can get better, but you've got to get out for your sake and for the sake of your children (if you have any.) The Leviathan Spirit and Jezebel Spirits ARE REAL. Bring God in #narcissistt #narcissisticabuse #Survivor #God #godlovesyou
