I’ve tried opal for a while now nvut I haven’t been strict enough so I do always say 15 minutes more. Do you have any tips for how I can have more willpower about that? I know that because I’m so much stressed in finals season, I crave more dopamine. So I’m on my phone more, but that literally makes me more stressed! I wish I could just delate the app!

YES ALL OF THESE! when I'm REALLY overwhelmed I do a "letter" walk where I have to spot a certain number of a pre-chosen letter, which works best in an urban area, and I can't check my phone until I've found say 100 "q"s - I find it makes me focus my eyes more than just looking for colors which I can kind of notice without really engaging 😂

atm I have a project of renovating my apartment. I do it all myself and take my time. It calms me down and I started liking cleaning up and even get excited for it now. Can really recommend that 😍 it gives me something to do whenever I get anxious about not being “productive“ (if I want to be)

That’s so much pressure to put on a holiday, especially if we don’t have the time/time off, the money, etc. Especially when we can get the same results by working with the body to experience that same safety, calm, ease, and support we feel when we are “freed” from life’s worries while on vacation.
