@myths_and_stories: reconnaissance personnel surveying the Bugtopia National Wilderness Area found themselves in a situation straight out of sci-fi: as they returned from their check-in station at parcel 16-J, they found that their motor vehicle had been over taken by a creacher most foul: a yet un-named, mysterious sort of thing. acting in accordance with their rigorous training, the operatives quickly engaged their ultra-violet discombobulation torches, in an attempt to ward the thingus back into the wilderness and away from the craft. thankfully, their quick thinking and high initiative roles saved their skins this time: the thingus was steered back into the jungles, with two individuals sustaining only minor burns to their arms and chest. the thingus, which has been designated by anomaly detection services as a class C-2 "whatchamacallit," is not believed to be a pertinent danger to residents in the area— however, locals are advised to remain on marked trails, per BWA guidelines. the president of the BWA, dr. mark skidds, is set to hold a press conference later today, where more information will be presented on the creacher in question.
