I had a family friend who is very well off. His kids got scholarships that they obviously didn’t financially need. So he told his kids to pick a kid and they would pay for that kid School instead. I thought that was great actually.

The fact that people are sooo mad about them getting scholarships. They’re not their parents, they’re their own person. She literally said they worked so hard! Hard work is rewarded, let them have this - it’s theirs. If you hate your financial situation, that’s on YOU.

Why are people mad that they got scholarships? Scholarships are not only need based they are merit based as well so if her kids have done exceptionally inside and outside of the classroom and have good merit, they should be awarded for that like any other kid in the college process would be?
