Carmack DID have a loaded gun. He made threats to the store owners son. They chased him- he ran, may or may not have dropped gun - ow er doesn't know and he fired. You bring a gun to game, the rules change! You buy the outcome = death or jail! I am sad for his family, but he was wrong at beginning!
