I think tom blyth did really well but the movie suffered from the lack of internal dialogue because that’s how you really learn to hate snow in the book

I actually think you should watch the movie first. You get the propaganda version then you read the book and get the truth. Almost like deconstruction in real time.

Everybody likes tbosas least out the movies and I kinda get it but you genuinely HAVE to read the book to understand the movie. The book is so in depth and like more about inner monologue which is hard to reflect in a movie since the book really is just stuck in snows brain. I read the book first and saw the movie w my mum and we had entirely different opinions because she didn't read the book; i quite like tbosas movie tbh but i think it was because I read the book first

Hot take but I appreciated watching the hunger games + tbosas before reading the books bc so many people didnt like the movies due to all the missing detail but I loved the movies then got to add so much more when I read the books
