I just did this and it created my perfect cookie. You definitely have to come with a recipe you already want tweaked and based on your preference. The cookies came out literally perfect

I recently saw a recipe that I wanted & it was one that the baker was selling. No shade for that at all but when I saw the price I nearly fell over. $47 for one recipe - no variations, no other info included, nothing. If you are self employed & can write off the purchase that's great. However, some of us just bake for family & friends. And honestly, $47 is more than I'd be willing to pay for a complete recipe book, much less for a single recipe. 😕

I’m not really confident with posting, nor do I just want to be on social media like that. I do know when I get back started. I wanted to be able to help others too. I got so many E-books I am burnt out and I be mad because it be the most basic information. The recipes are repeats anyways, the customers that support you will still support. You are right about them being mean and nasty, but want you to financially support. That’s why when people ask for recipes in comments, and they don’t respond. I’ll go find a good one, copy and paste.
