Note for future. Keep a box of disposable latex gloves on van because not all toilets are that clean. 👍🏼

People can change their own toilet seat if they don’t want to pay for that if that’s the charge that’s the charge

Do you find as a handyman most of your clients are often elderly as for this job with the gutter for example anybody could do that with abit of Google and save 80 pound but as they are elderly they might not be safe to go on a ladder is that a common occurrence in clientele

Idk why people are complaining about his price. As an electrician, I’d charge £90 just to go out to change a socket. Got to be worth his time

I did the cut roof a few weeks back on a double garage. The reason I was able to do it in a day was because I invested in all the tools that would speed up the work. I didn’t invest all that money in tools to save customers money. I did so so I could make more money. That’s business

I would absolutely pay £80 to not have to think about these things at all and just pay someone else to do it for me.

Clearly there’s a need and your pricing works for you. Always tried to do DIY but now I’m retired do just about everything. Takes me longer than a pro but quickly discovered a lot of these jobs including bigger ones aren’t’ rocket science. YouTube helps!

Sounds odd but I'd rather do overtime at work where I know what I'm doing and pay someone else for stuff I can't be bothered to do at home

I totally agree with you. I charge $125 minimum call for any job under two hours so for what you’ve done there that’s not bad that’s a good job.
