Now what they're doing is diversifying the loss. When Joe public buys shares, the current private investors can sell at the inflated price for a profit, and then when the public company goes under, the fresh blood takes the loss and the initial investors walk away Scott free. It's literally a pump and dump.

Rubbish. Private placements are much quicker ways of receiving cash however less regulation and riskier. IPO are slower but give companies access to more investors and liquidity

The only way we’d be able to do AI and data centers at the scale their talking ab is if we had large amounts of reliable renewable energy sources (wind, solar, nuclear) and America is nowhere near that and I doubt oil companies are gonna give up their profits for tech bros 🤣 the power grid we have and finite resources we have can’t sustain even a quarter of what they are proposing.
