@m7admissions: Every year, someone tells me that MBAs aren’t worth it anymore. Then employment reports come out. This year, average starting salaries at several M7 schools are pushing or exceeding $180,000. Stanford reported nearly $190,000, with Harvard and Wharton not far behind. Of course, salary isn’t everything. An MBA isn’t a magic ticket, and not everyone should get one. Two years of opportunity cost and six figures of tuition is a very real investment. But I think this data is a useful reminder that the question isn’t “Is an MBA worth it?” The better question is, “For whom, and for what goal?” For someone looking to pivot careers, accelerate into leadership, break into consulting, finance, or tech, or build a powerful professional network, the ROI can still be enormous. The biggest mistake I see applicants make is focusing exclusively on rankings while ignoring outcomes. At the end of the day, your career trajectory, industry choice, and execution matter far more than whether your school was ranked 3 or 7. What do you think: Is an M7 MBA still worth the cost in 2026? #mba #mbaapplication #bschool #salary

It’s about that elite network more than anything in the long term. Always. Atleast for T20.
