Just because she's "dark" doesn't mean she'll go for a guy who transforms only to hurt her and her loved ones. She was devastated when Enid got mad at her, raised her voice at her and left her to room with Yoko. She was deeply hurt for Eugene and Thing. And most of those are caused by Tyler in one way or another. If the writers make Wyler endgame then they ruined Wednesday and disrespected Enid, Eugene, and Pugsley.
