@finishcinemaboy: Six-year-old Jonathan Lipnicki kept repeating the random fact “the human head weighs eight pounds” on set, and director Cameron Crowe loved it so much he wrote it straight into the final script. For Lipnicki’s first living room scene with Tom Cruise, Crowe deliberately left the dialogue entirely unscripted to let the two actors find an authentic, organic connection on camera.
