The best tehari you’ll ever make! Tehari Ingredients: 1.5 kg beef Brisket cut in cubes 2 medium onions sliced 1 cup mustard oil 1tbsp ginger and 1tbsp garlic 1 cup yogurt Lots of green chillies Some whole spices like cinnamons, bay leaves, cardamom. For tehari moshla- 2 little pieces of mace, 1/2tsp cloves, 1/2tsp white pepper, 1/3 nutmeg, 8 green chillies, handful of berestha or fried onions, 1tbsp raisins, 1 cardamom, 1 cinnamon. Blend until smooth. Chinigura rice 3 cups Small potatoes 8-10 Green chillies 1tbsp powdered milk 1tsp gorom moshla powder 1tsp sugar Salt to taste Cooking method: in a pan add mustard oil, whole gorom moshla, sliced onions and cook until translucent, add ginger garlic paste, mix well. Add beef and season with salt. Mix well. Add yogurt, milk powder, tehari moshla paste, gorom moshla, salt and sugar. Mix well. Cook on medium heat for 10min stirring in between. Add some green chillies and milk. Cover and cook on medium low until almost tender. Add water in between if needed. Add the potatoes and cook for another 15min on low heat. Now add washed chinigura rice, salt, chillies, raisins if you like and mix it with the beef gravy. Add 3 cups of boiling hot water. Cover and Cook on medium low heat. Lastly give it one final mix and put it on dum w a tawa underneath for 10min. Serve hot with green chillies and red onions and enjoy!
