Had a problem one. Kept tolerating him. One day a bobcat tried getting in the coop when it was open. He died fighting that bobcat. Didn't lose any hens. You never know how it'll go with the 'bad' ones.

My husband had two roosters growing up one was named red and was sweet as pie. He would cuddle with you if you let him the other one’s name was lunch you can guess why.

My doodle, he was bantam but thought he was the toughest guy on the yard. Great roo to us and his hens, passed fighting off a mink from his girls

One mean roo episode and they’re done! My BEST rooster was so sweet to people, and loved his flock. He died protecting them from a coon. We would’ve lost so many more if not for him. He did enough to have the coon bleeding. I’ll never give mean roosters the time of day after him.
