Funny we are just in Japan trying to find a beautiful GS for my partner, it was so hard to find them, people that buy GS loved them and keep them. People that buy Rolex sell them. Every store we went there will be maybe 5-10 GS for every 100 Rolex there to buy. By the end I was sick of seeing Rolex it was like a tsunami of them. Definitely not scarcity when it comes to Rolex.

I own both ... I have a Pepsi on Oyster and a GS white birch. I'll say this.. i know the GS is better quality, and the smooth sweeping second hand is amazing. but if I want to impress other people, I wear the Pepsi.

I do have a Rolex Batgirl and a Grand Seiko cherry blossom. And I can really say the finishing is way better in a Grand Seiko. The Rolex is more hype and a better money retainer. That’s all.
