That's good I'm grateful my parents did. They divorced when I was 4 still till this day I don't know why they got divorced I don't need to not my business. my business always has been having a relationship with my parents. As a kid you're smart enough to know you're half of each of them so if they're saying awful things about each other that must mean it applies to the kid as well is how they think. putting differences aside for the child tells the child you care for them. So great job

So it’s called parallel parenting so what happens there is his dads choices and mine are mine. However for the most part I do try to coparent and get his input first
