my great great grandparents left 600 acres of land for the future family. it was to be inherited and passed down by each generation and an emergency asylum land incase the economy got bad. And the boomers in my family sold most of it. 72 acres is all that remains and they turned into a resort for strangers. I will never own a lick of that land or the money from it. so... its not our faults and dont blame yourself.

My friend’s grandparents used to own a lot of land back in the 60’s in our home city, at some point in the 80’s his grandma sold big chunk of it to the city and other people. You would think they have lots of money right now but the truth is my friend actually sits on rental as they didn’t have anything to pass down, not to mention any money
