I'll never forget when my psychology professor said her daughter slammed the door so she made her open and close the door gently 100 times and she had to say something nice every time she opened the door 🤣and she told her if she didn't close it gently or got an attitude that she would have to start over. She never slammed a door again 🤣

I make my kids write a 3-4 paragraph essay explaining in detail (intro, body and conclusion) 1- what they did 2- why they thought it was a good idea 3- how it made them feel. I then will sit down with them, read it and have a conversation about it. If the essay isn’t detailed and articulated properly I make them redo it.
