Saying this with love—highly suggest getting out of the downtown area and trying non-chain places. I get when visiting the US wanting to try some fast food but the city’s local dining scene is incredible!!!

you MUST get out of downtown. go to west loop, old town, wicker, logan square, bucktown, pilsen LITERALLY ANY NEIGHBORHOOD - has infinitely better food 👏🏼🥰

GIRL IF YOU DONT GO TO GATHERS FOR MATCHA 🍵. Have not found a better matcha in the city than gathers. While you in the area (Little Italy) get some famous Italian Ice at Mario’s!

That Target used to be an old time Chicago department store. Carson, Pirie, Scott. It’s so sad that it’s now a Target. The Macy’s is with a visit to see the Tiffany dome in the middle. We still call it Marshall Fields sometimes.

You would love armitage street in Lincoln park for shopping, Gold Coast for a bougie dinner (more shopping) and also walk the lake front, bonus farmer market on Saturday, wicker park for some unique stores and great coffee/bar options, and Chinatown for the best vibes, skincare, shopping etc. also, west loop. Get out of river north I promise there’s tons to see in Chicago :)

omg go to wicker park! new to your channel but Chinatown --> try everything just follow your nose wicker park and Logan square tons of cafes and fun bars, Fulton market can also be fun but city specific stuff outside of the loop is peak
